When do babies start doing "solid" poo? (Sorry!)

I'm not sure if my 10 month old is constipated or not. For a couple of weeks now her dirty nappies have consisted of one solid stool, much like an adult's. I know that once weaning is established there will be a change in nappy contents, but the change seemed quite sudden rather than gradual. She is still going 2 or 3 times each day, the stools aren't rock hard/small or anything. She certainly doesn't seem uncomfortable. Is it just normal??

Lots of variety with this. My DD had quite “adult” poos some days from about a year, but other days were more baby like - I assumed it depended how much solids/milk she had had that day, as her appetite and preferences changed quite a bit from day to day. If your DD is comfortBle, I’d assume it isn’t constipation

Depends on their diet, interestingly (and disgustingly) following a bout of norovirus and being ill for over a week as a toddler her stools turned back to that of an exclusively breastfed baby as breast milk was all she was keeping down - it makes sense but I wasn't expecting it.
