So neighbours first baby.... leaving it to cry every night for 2 plus hours
To the point where i can't put my son 6 to bed in his room...

He's slept in my bed for weeks now... as the baby who is now 11 months old screams till 10 pm every bloody night in the room next to his

It's driving me bonkers...
there house is for sale and sold so I hopefully hoping they will move soon

Should I say something?

Along the lines of I get it but it's not healthy leaving her to cry for 2 hours every night!!!

I know it's better for you, but, it's sad she's learnt no matter how much she cries, no one is going to come 😥

You can't be really sure if they let the baby cry on her own or someone's with the baby and she still cries. Even if you hear them talking downstairs, it might be that they put the baby alone in her cot for a few minutes to see if that will help her settle.

I understand how you feel too and that it's an annoying situation for you, but I would feel very uncomfortable as a new mum if I knew my neighbours were actively trying to listen to figure out how I was taking care of my crying baby. We live in a not very soundproof house, DS would cry a lot sometimes when he was a baby and I was always terrified that the neighbours would complain about it. In your shoes, I wouldn't say anything about the noise but simply ask how they are and if they need any help.
I would very much appreciate this if I were them.
