Mine is not two for another month but at the moment:
Wakes 6-630 and has milk
Breakfast and get dressed 7ish
In term time he has to do the school run with me at 8.20, he goes to pushchair there and walks or scoots back. Sometimes we go to the park. Get home around 9.30 and he plays/watches tv/follows me around if I stop playing
Lunch 12ish
Nap 1-2.40 (if school run, 3 if not)
Snack
Plays with siblings
Dinner 5ish
Bed 730 ish.

It’s very boring and very repetitive, he watches far too much tv and it is nothing like the experience with my others where we were out at toddler groups or with friends almost every morning. I’m dreading when he drops his nap but hopefully by the time he does he’ll have a longer attention span and I won’t need to think of new activities every five seconds

We get up about 7, get dressed and have breakfast. Then play for a short while when I tidy up a bit or make lunch. Then we go out about 9 to the park or for a walk somewhere and take a snack with us. Home at 11, half an hour of television, then lunch.
Nap 12 to 2ish. Up then play a bit, snack, then either stay at home or go for a short walk. At home will do some drawing, playing with play dough etc, or hoovering. Tea at 5, bed time at 7 or 7.30.

2-2.5yo
Up at 7, breakfast and get dressed
9.30ish either go out (park, shop, class or soft play, visit my DM) or stay in and play
Snack about 10.30
Home for nap 11.30-1
1pm lunch and tidy up
2pm either play time or go out again depending on weather and what we'd done in the morning
4.30 TV
5.30 dinner, followed by bath & bed for 7.30

2.5-3yo
5.30 wake up, get told repeatedly to be quiet
6am give up, go downstairs and stick Cbeebies on, drink tea while trying to grab 10 minutes extra sleep in front of Teletubbies
7.30 as above
9.30ish as above
11.30 TV
12 lunch
1 play or go out as abovd
4.30 TV
5.30 dinner, bath and bed
She will have a nap some days but it's a mixed bag and we often go out in the car after lunch if she's clearly desperate for one as that works every time

2.5yo who has recently dropped naps:

7:30 Wake up
8am Breakfast with CBeebies on so I can get my own breakfast/feed the cat/wash up/tidy etc
8:30am/9am Read, play with her dolls house, a jigsaw or something similar
9:30am Get dressed, brush teeth
10am Go out somewhere - for a walk, to the farm, to the shops, etc there's usually a snack mid-morning too
12pm Lunch
1pm TV (film or some other toddler nonsense)
2pm-4pm Play, put washing away or some other chores with DD's help
4:30pm Play with something in the kitchen (pans/pouring things into jugs) while I make tea
5:00/5:30pm Tea
6pm Bath (not every night)
6:30pm Book and bed (earlier now she's no longer napping in the day)

She watches too much TV but with cold, wet days it's not always possible (and I don't always have the will) to go out somewhere. We try to make sure she goes for a walk to the park everyday to run off some energy but also book tickets to the local farm/NT/EH places so she has a change of scenery. I have taken her to local garden centres/IKEA recently to see the Christmas displays.

Just turned two year old. Hasn’t napped for a couple of months now, only had half an hour anyway so no massive loss.

Awake 5ish, out of bed at 6 when the ‘sun comes up’ (Gro-clock)
Milk with daddy while mummy gets dressed, then swap
7.30ish - breakfast
Then playing until we go out somewhere - latterly it’s basically the park or other outdoor attraction thanks to CV. Snack mid morning
12ish - lunch
Afternoon playing at home/some tv/another outing
4.30ish - dinner
More playing
6pm - bath, teeth, story, milk and bed for 6.30. Normally straight to sleep and sleeps straight through to 5am

I work full time as a teacher, but this routine is essentially the same at the IL’s house, where she goes four days a week, 7.15am-5.30pm. Probably more playing at Nanny and Grandad’s house as she has two adults who focus 100% of their attention on her all day!

She’s never needed much daytime sleep, hence the no nap. Dropped it herself by steadfastly refusing to sleep I the day.

triceratops12 · 23/12/2020 20:35

On a week day -

5.30am- up and eating breakfast
7.15 leave for nursery
5.30pm nursery pick up
5.45 home and a snack, cuddle, play
6.30 bath and bed

On a weekend-

Up at 5.30am for breakfast
Some sort of long walk or activity between now and lunchtime
12 o'clock lunchtime
More playing/activity what ever
4.30 tea time
6.30 bedtime

Mybobowler · 23/12/2020 20:38

My almost-two year old's day is something like this if she's not at nursery:

Awake at 6.30/7 - milk and half of a slice of my toast
8/8.30 - porridge for breakfast, then get her dressed in front of the TV
9.30/11 - out of the house, usually to the park, feed the ducks etc
11 - 12 - she plays or watches TV while I get lunch ready
12.30 - 2pm - nap
2.30 - Back out of the house for a couple of hours. If the weather is awful, I try to come up with something to do (messy play, painting, baking)
4pm - small snack and a cup of milk, usually the TV goes back on for 20 mins
5.30 - dinner
6.30 - bath/milk/teeth/book
7pm - bed

It's so boring and I'm really struggling to entertain her without seeing other people, doing play dates, toddler groups etc. I never imagined my toddler would watch so much TV, but these are exceptional times and I've decided not to give myself grief over it. I'm doing my best!

Glad to hear the mention of tv for a lot of you ladies. Also in the same boat here. Lockdown in the winter is horrible as missing the days outside.

CustardyCreams · 23/12/2020 21:08

Almost 2 y.o.

6.30 awake, milk
7.30 breakfast
8.15-9.15 school run, walk home via park OR play at home if weekend
9.30 drink, snack and books/tv
9.45-11 activities - eg visit nan, go shopping, or help with housework
11 Lunch
11.30-1.30 nap
1.30-2.45 play, maybe some tv, snack
2.45-4 school run, walk home via park
4.45 tea
5-6 play
6pm bath etc
7 to 7.30 bedtime

whereisthejoy · 23/12/2020 21:31

Interesting thread, thanks OP.

Our 2 and 1/4 year old has started sleeping until 7/7.30am in the last week, giving us an extra hour in bed. Whoop!

7/7:30 wake, in bed with us for cuddles
7:45/8 rooibos tea in a bottle
8.30 breakfast and time with Daddy while I exercise etc, she will read a book while I have a shower when I take over and generally too much Amazon fire around this time
Around 10am go for a walk in the countryside (we are in a village) to jump in muddy puddles 🙃
11:45/12 lunch
12:30 nap until 2/2:30 (naps getting shorter since longer night sleep)
3/3:30 snack - in the afternoon we never go out again, will do arts and crafts or she'll draw on her easel (I rarely fancy getting the paint out!), plays in her toddler kitchen, tips her ballpit everywhere, probably some cuddle time on the sofa with me if I'm not working while watching telly, bothering Daddy as much as we can when he's WFH Grin
5:30 dinner altogether (DH and I have adapted to having dinner at this time and it's brilliant
6/6:30 bath
6:30-7 demanding multiple stories while sitting on the loo and brushing her teeth
7 bedtime, tells the 182 soft toys in the cot it's sleepy time (one at a time) and sings Walking in the Air on repeat until she falls asleep

whereisthejoy · 23/12/2020 21:32

Oh she also has rooibos tea in a bottle after her lunchtime nap and 250ml milk before bedtime... I cannot bear to take the bottles away from her but think 3 a day is probably not great for her teeth 🙈

nervousnelly8 · 23/12/2020 21:40

The mention of TV in everyone's routine is making me feel so much better about my nearly 2 year old's TV time, which has ramped up dramatically since his sibling arrived a month ago!
