pull up nappies?

We've started to introduce our ds (18mo) to the toilet and he'll quite happily sit on it and sort of gets the idea that he could do a wee in it if he wanted to (although he hasn't actually done one yet). whenever i go to the loo and take him with me he wants to sit on the toilet too - do you reckon it is worth buying pull-up nappies? the just seem v expensive compared to normal ones.

I started using these with DS as soon as he started walking (11m) - they are so much easier to use on a wriggly toddler!

No. I don't think it's worth it at that age. The only times I found them useful were:

  1. in between potty training attempts with DSs as it wasn't a full step back into nappies
  2. when taking them swimming as you could put them on standing up!
  3. overnight when they were day trained but not night trained.
