Toddler with an upset stomach

My nearly nearly 3 year old suddenly had an onset of diarrhoea which started Thursday night , Friday she had diarrhoea but only during the day nothing during the night and no accidents she always managed to get to the toilet. I cut out juice and anything I thought may be causing the upset, Sunday I assumed it has passed nothing all day she did go to the toilet but it was solid. So I'm very confused I don't think it's a bug/virus as she doesn't attend any nursery's and is only ever in the house with me and I'm fine. Any similar situations? Are nearly 3 year olds still cutting teeth? If it carries on today I think I'll give the docs a call

Tried any new food?
Eaten any gone off food?
Lots of kids I teach had covid and their own symptom was an upset tummy- worth maybe a test?

No tried nothing new...

Really? That's interesting. No temp or cough here though , maybe I'll ring the doctors and get advice

I wouldn't worry about it. You can get upset tummy's for lots of different reasons.

DD sometimes gets an upset stomach from seemingly nowhere.

I strongly recommend the BRAT diet to get her back on her feet:

Bananas
Rice
Apple sauce
Toast

Very American, but has served us well.

If she has not been anywhere to pick up a tummy bug from anyone she is unlikely to have got covid from anyone.

Has she been playing outside in garden/park. She may have touched something with some germs and then put her hands in her mouth. Or possibly not washed her hands properly after going to the toilet? If it was just 48hours of diarrhoea that has now passed I wouldn’t worry about it but if it happens again it might be worth talking to the dr about it.
