Don't know how much my 5 month old should be having

My dd is 5 months and about 16.5lbs. She sleeps 10pm until 9am without waking and currently has 5 8oz bottles (drinks 6-7oz from it). She eats 9am, 1pm, 5pm, 9pm and then I try to fit another bottle before sleep. I feel like I kind of force this last bottle on her though because I'm not sure if the 4 bottles is enough for her since by doing the calculations, she should be having about 34oz in 24 hours which she wouldn't get if I cut the 5th bottle... I'm just not sure if it's okay to cut a feed since she's quite happy without it. Any advice please?

Focus on out put. Is she gaining weight and following her percentile?

No idea if she's following her centile tbh! She's definitely gaining weight, shes chunky and wears 6-9 clothes

Weight her (bathroom scales are fine) and then plot her weight in her red book

Yeah that's how I gauge get weight but the Dr said not to do this because it's inaccurate. But I have no other way

30oz a day is fine - and an hour after a meal would you want another meal?

Very jealous that your baby sleeps better than my toddler!

She'd be getting roughly 28oz if I cut the 5th bottle. With the 5th she's getting 35oz which is closer to the calculations... I'm just not sure what to do because I can't really fit the 5th bottle in without forcing it on her before bedtime.

If you really think you need another one it might be easier to shrink the gaps you have already than do two close together at the end of the day. Eg 9, 12, 3, 6 and 9? Though I agree with others if she is gaining weight, filling nappies and seems lovely and alert it’s likely she’s getting enough.

I meant lively and alert though I’m sure she is also lovely!
