Dd has her second cold. I wouldn't disinfect anything though - why do you want to do that?

You might need to post this again with the title cos some people might not find it!!

Why would you wean him off his dummy right now? He needs the comfort of it now more than ever.

And you don't need to go around disinfecting his toys. Believe me, he'll have plenty more illnesses - you'll make yourself crazy if you do that every time! Just make sure you, and anyone else in your family, wash your hands frequently, but you'll probably catch it anyway, sorry to say.

You could put something under the head of his mattress to raise it a little bit - that will help him sleep better. Besides that, let him nurse/have a bottle as often as he wants, and wait till it passes.

Lots of cuddles, & don't disinfect anything, ffff. Great name, btw!

No No No to disinfectant -getting germs and getting colds and geting over them is how he will build up his immune system.
Try medised infant - search on medised here for stories of how wonderful it is.

And even if you didn't want him to catch anything, it's too late now, he's already got it. The only reason you would disinfect anything would be so that the rest of the family doesn't get it, and besides frequent handwashing there's not much you can do about that. Illnesses are a part of life when you have young children, I'm afraid.
