Front sleeping - wet sleep suit

Hi,

Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop nappy leaking on a front sleeper? We’ve only just moved into size 4 so thinking that 5 would be massive. Nights where he mainly stays on his back we have no problems.

Thanks!

What nappies are you using? We used to find this until we switched brands - we now use Pampers for bedtime and aldi in the day. DC never leaks through now we're using the pampers

You can put a reusable nappy wrap over a disposable nappy to help with this. A motherease airflow is a good optiob

I went a size up to stop this; they looked ridiculously big but DS doesn’t care and it stops the leaks

Check list - penis pointing down, nappy frills out, fastened securely? Try a different brand of nappy? Also, whilst a too small nappy can leak, a too big one can too, have to make sure it's on closely enough (you can only 1 finger under the waistband..)

Try size 4+.

They are the same 'size', with extra absorption.

Try putting it on back to front. Not guaranteed to work but worth testing.

And yes 4+ only very marginally bigger - mostly just extra absorption. Stick with pampers for nights

I had this with my daughter. We have Size 4 Pampers Premium (I managed to get a ton discounted) but she would leak a bit every so often.

Had a pack of Aldi Mamia Premium 4+ stashed away and tried one of those. No leaks since!

As it's a long sleep (11ish hours) I think she just needs the extra absorption at night.

Sadly this is my specialist subject! The key is making sure that his willy is actually touching the inside of the nappy. That way the wee goes straight into the nappy and doesn’t run out. So keep the same size nappy but put a vest with poppers on, over the top so it’s all firmly packed in.

We’ve had it with pampers premium and Sainsbury’s nappies.

Thanks for all the tips - will work my way through them!
