Gave my baby out of date vegetables

I’m weaning my six month old baby and am making my own vegetable purées. I gave her some carrots today (I was cooking some for my own lunch and did extra for baby). However, I’ve just been cleaning out the fridge and spotted the best before date on them was 6th November. I’m now so annoyed that I didn’t check this earlier and am worried that I could have made her ill

Don't feel silly, OP. At least you know now and hopefully won't worry next time!

As others have said, it will be fine. Vegetables do not grow with a use by date.

Vegetable s don't have a sell by date, use your eyes to see if they are in the turn or going slimey. Supermarkets need to stop being rediculous with putting on dates. Store them right and they will last ages!!!
