Saving for 3 children

As the title reads I am trying to save some money in my 3 children's bank accounts for their future. Either for learning to drive, uni or maybe just to put towards a house deposit. Any way, I was just wondering how other people do this. How much would you or do you save weekly or monthly and does the eldest have more at the moment because you've had longer to save for them so by the time you give the eldest the money you'll still have a few years to make up the difference to the younger ones??

Advice needed please

Hi I have three children, they all have a bank account for birth one they can't touch until they are 18. I'm on my own so can't afford to put in but any Xmas bday cheques from family go in the bank. The eldest has more like you say as has two years in her sister. Eldest also got some kind of grant when she was born from the government which stopped before second was born so always have more - I feel guilty but hopefully when there are 18 I'll be in a better position financially

I would save as much as is practical for you and on a schedule that works. I have a standing order set up for each of mine. I think it’s £20 monthly, as I get paid monthly. The eldest has more obviously because she’s older but it will all even out eventually.
