I love my woolylegs, i have longies which i use at night, over a minki huggle.

I love them so much, they're so comfy and cute. I have lanolised them once when got them last week. The first few nights they were fine, no problems. I have noticed in the middle of the night that last few nights that i have a damp patch in the bed after feeding her, or on my arm wen i carry her back to bed. so have to take them off and put a diffent nappy with a wrap on.

Should i try lanoising them again? if so, how? maybe i did it wrong... i used liquid lanolin. i put it into warm water, AND rubbed some on my hands and 'pulled' the trouser through my hands IYSWIM? then left them to soak for about 12 hours. I also used a bit of solid lanolin in warm water with baby shampoo as recommended on a website. so i felt htey were well treated...

not sure what to do now.. want to use them...

any ideas?

Wool covers need lanolising several times to be fully waterproofed. What you have done sounds fine to me, but I would relanolise them again now and expect to do it about once a week for the first 3 weeks. After that they should work better and go 3-4 weeks between treatments. The more you use them, the better they get

brilliant lizarose. thank you. I will do it again this evening so they are dry for tomorrow night.

think i'll use the solid stuff as have a massive tube left over of lanisoh from cracked nipples early on in bf. havent had that prob for months so will put it to good use.

thanks again
