With two young dds we're trying for our third and final dc. So how do you find it? What buggys, car's and sleeping arrangements do you have? (We currently have 3 bed and a mondeo.)

Don't do it!!!!!!

Baby in sling, toddler in buggy, child walking.

Got a new car to fit 3 seats across the back and we have a 4 bedroom house so the kids have a room each.

Our older two share a bedroom. Bath and bed has always been dh's special time with the LOs, with me rejoining them for the bedtime stories and kisses. Unfortunately the baby is very difficult to settle at night, and we haven't yet been able to integrate him into the bedtime routine, so after baths we split up again, wih me taking the baby and dh taking the older ones.

The eldest has now outgrown 7.30 bedtime, so after the joint storytime dd is put to bed with the light out, while ds1 comes back downstairs with us for quiet play and goes back up on his own an hour later.

chipmonkey - 3 days a week I pick up my friend's 2 boys and take them to school/nursery along with mine. I have 2 six year olds, 1 five year old, 1 three year old and 1 two year old.

I put my 3 yr old in the buggy because he's a runaway whereas the 2 yr old will happily hold on to the buggy when told.

So, if your 3 year old is a bit unreliable near a road - use a buggy or buggy board!!!

Think it may have to be the buggy, GDG! Even with a buggy-board, I can see myself having to hang on to him with a vice-like grip to stop him absconding! The annoying thing is that we did have a double buggy for ds1 and ds2. But when we were moving house we left it down in IL's shed and FIL threw it out! So now I'll have to fork out for another one.
