My little girl (8.5 months old) has just started nursery, she does three days a week (after two months of settling sessions with no problem.s) I drop her off she isn't bothered I'm leaving her and isn't bothered when i pick her up.
I know it's great she isn't bothered I leave her but it's really hard that she doesn't seem happy to see me when I pick her up .
After i put her on the car she starts getting really smiley.
Does anyone else's kids do this ?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If it makes you feel any better, when my dc1 was a toddler, he'd go running enthusiastically and all excited into the childminder in the morning, and I'd have to carry him out kicking and screaming in the evenings. Grin
I consoled myself that it was a good thing, really, that he liked being there so much Hmm

He's a pretty secure adult now, who gives me big hugs on a regular basis, so it works out okay in the end.

@BackforGood thank you for the reply. I'm trying to think the same she must be happy and confident in herself Smile

My DD (16 months) now walks into nursery without a backwards glance or a wave in my direction.
And when she first started (she did two weeks when she was 8 months, just before lockdown) she used to see DH arrive to pick her up, and burst into tears.
Little darling..
