21 month old won't drink

21 months old will go most of the day with just sips but then drinks normally some other days.

She has around three different style bottles she is perfectly able to drink out, I always have a sports bottle, we offer her drinks often but refuses.

Also the reason why I worry is that it gives her constipation sometimes which in turn then makes her not want to eat

Does anyone else have this issue?

At 21 months you should try her on a small cup not bottle. Maybe a change will encourage her. Just use a bottle type when outside.

It's not a bottle as in a milk bottle she never took to them, she has a sports bottle, one with a straw and a spout one as well as access to a dodi cup so plenty to offer she's just not interested

I would offer an open cup. Play with tea set in the bath. At that age DD1 had a cute little expresso cup which looked like a smaller version of our mugs and she would drink from that.

Try the plastic sports lid type bottles..... straws have a novelty. Tea sets. Make honey lemon tea in a teapot and let her pour it into a kid friendly mug.

Do YOU drink much water around her? Kids like to imitate their parents. Get matching cups or bottles.

Some kids just don’t drink that mu chi especially if they eat fresh food with lots of veg and fruit🤞 But if she is constipated then it’s worth persevering

Yeah I'm always drinking water, that's all I drink except a cup of tea in the morning and evening when she's gone to bed.

I have tried her with an open cup but she gets over excite and spills it lol
