Hi everyone, my baby girl is 2 weeks off being 8months. This is my first so I have no clue if my baby is just expressing her feelings without words or weather it's something else?
She frequently tenses her body, fists, face and grunts. She frowns her eyebrows or raises her eyebrows and looks concerned. She will also moan and grunt. She isnt trying to poo or anything, she does it when im not picking her up fast enough, doing it when shes playing as if shes mad or frustrated at the toy. She does it when I try to put her in the bouncer and she kicks her legs so i cant put her in, when shes in she cries after a couple mins and tenses. She does it when she sees me after I've left the room, she does it so much. My partners auntie has had a baby, when my baby does this everyone thinks it's funny and weird like it's not a usual thing for babies to do? The aunties baby doesnt do this. Is it because I'm not meeting her needs quick enough and she is?

She does it alot... but shes hitting every milestone, shes even said hello, mama and shakes her head to say no without understanding the meaning. Is this just her expressing emotion, I've noticed she doesnt cry much unless shes very tierd or hungry. Could this be a way of telling me what she wants without crying??

Shes so needy :( the aunties baby will sit in the Bouncer or high chair happily playing with toys, mine gets mad after 5 minutes but will lie on the couch next to me with the same toy for ages. I know I shouldnt compare as every baby is different, but it's all I have to go off because I havnt had any babies in my family.

If she is stressed, why? 😭 I clean her nappy, feed her, breastfeed on demand, give her toys and entertainment, play with her, walk her in the pram. It's mainly happens when i out her in the high chair or bouncer and I'm not holding her, shes fine on the couch though.

Ah OP, it doesn't sound as if there's much wrong with her at all. All mine did was scream for years and he was my third Grin

Babies don't really see us as people. More like we're an extension of them. Some are quite happy to sit independent of us and some take a little longer. It sounds as if you're doing a brilliant job.
