What buggy for 17month old and newborn

In a few months I will have a 17 month old and a newborn. I can't decide what to do about the buggy situation. If going out with just one it will be no problem but taking 2 on my own??? I thought about one of those boogie boards (I think that's what they are called) but that won't work for when we walk our rural lanes trying to keep fit. And what if older baby is tired and wants to sit back. Can't help but wonder if I should just sell my single travel system and look into a double buggy. Would only need 1 new infant car seat for it. Could keep my lightweight single stroller if I popped out to town with 1 so I would have a single option if needed/wanted. Any ideas welcome Smile

What have others done? Anyone found a good solution if you are in a similar situation?

I got a Mountain Buggy Duet. Slim enough to fit in all buses and through doors, light to push as has proper air-filled tyres.

Never had a buggy board becuase I had a double mostly so both DC could sleep. Buggy board never would have got much use.

You can't attach a carseat to the MB but then I never did anyway. Buying a travel system for DC1 with the adaptors etc was our biggest waste of money. I used the adaptors once in two babies.

I bought a second hand bugaboo donkey. It's a bit of a beast but actually fits through most cage/shop doors. I wasn't driving at the time so was walking a lot and it's great to push and be able to chat to them both. Once the eldest could reliably walk longer distances I switched to a single buggy and buggyboard but I think with a 17m you'll definitely want a double.

Excellent autocorrect. I'm sure we've all wanted to cage them occasionally!
