My DH said my DS, 15mo, was looking a bit BoJo. That can't stand so I have booked him for a haircut this afternoon....and have no idea what to ask for. Fluffly hair that refuses to part. Straight on top and curly at the back. I love it but admit it looks a bit messy. Pics attached....what would you ask for?

Your child has MUCH nicer hair than BoJo. And this is a hairstyle which can be carried off fine by a small child. Less so an idotic politician.

That said, it quickly turns into a porridge spangled mullet at this age (from experience..) so a wee trim can be practical. I would just say something along the lines of a short back and sides but not too short on the top. And be prepared for him suddenly looking soooo grown up...

This could be a picture of my DS albeit DS is a tiny bit more ginger which can give him a bit of a Donald Trump look. Also not a good look for a 13 month old. I can't bring myself to get it cut though because I love those little curls so much. I'm thinking maybe if I get the sides tidied up, it will look a bit neater? I don't know though.

@mynameiscalypso am quite attached to the curls! Because it is fine the top is doing that funny parting thing where he almost looks as if he is balding though. I'll let you know what it goes!

@LaTomatina curls not so good when they have gone crusty with porridge, I know it well!

Maybe just the generic 'trim' request.

Ask for longish top and short back and sides, the straight part is only due to the weight pulling down, when it is shorter it will be curly all over
