HELP! DS has started wetting bed again

About four/five weeks ago DS(2.9) kicked off at bedtime telling us he didnt want to wear nappies anymore.
He has been dry by day for a while now so we thought we'd let him try to go by night too. We started lifting him every night before we went to bed and he did very bloody well!!

Last week it all stopped, nothing has changed at home that I can think of to make him start wetting again, so I assume he just wasnt ready?

Thing is we have talked to him about the recent wetting and told him we think maybe he should wear some nappies again and he was distraught. I have seen the huggies pjama style pants on tv and am thnking of getting him some of these.

Does anyone have any advice???
Maybe there is something I'm missing?

unless he is a very big boy i dotn suppose he will in PJ pants as the smallest size is for children up to 7 years old.

2 (or even 3) is VERY younge for a boy to be dry at night.... some do it but not many.

at the end of the day he is a 2 year old and if you want him to be in nappies (probably like all / most of his friends) then that is what happens....

maybe go for a pant style nappy or pull ups or pamapers feel and learn... training pants are not designed to be as absorbant as nappies but will cope with a wee and you could let him choose the design and call them bed pants or something.

should say fit in PJ pants

Agh, I didnt see the sizes. I know at his age it is very early to be dry by night, his sister was but I know all children are different, we only stopped the nappies thing because he asked us too.
I suppose I'm just worried that as he seems so dead against nappies at night, it could cause problems with his daytime routine.

We used to use pul ups before he stopped wearing them, so he sees them as nappies, but I'm sure we could try and find a different brand or something that he might believe me werent nappies!
