My 9 week old DD is due her jabs tomorrow, just a very quick question really, at what point do you need to administrate the calpol, is it before or before and after or after? TIA

After. You may not need it at all.

Is it the first set of injections (usually 8 weeks). They contain a meningitis vaccine that can result in a raised temp. The advise from my nurse was one dose of Calpol just before the appointment and then 2 more at 4/6 hour intervals. I received an NHS leaflet with all the info about why Calpol is advised for this particular vaccine.

This NHS page has more info and a link to the leaflet I mentioned.

I took it with me and the nurse helpfully gave him the first dose to show me the best way to do it. Plus she gave me a less crap syringe than the one that comes with it!

I took the bottle to the appointment and gave it a few minutes before, while they were filling in book and preparing the needle. Though a few minutes before or after probably doesn't make much difference, as long as it's at about the same time.

@Blak Calpol is medication for high fever. Unless the LO has high fever there should be no need. We did not have any fever at all after any of the jabs.
