Cradle cap

Hello,
Does anyone know if there's anything I can get rid of cradle cap with, HV said about Vaseline. It doesn't seem to be doing much and it's under my DD hair so can't really get to it. Is there a shampoo I can get maybe?
Thanks for your replies in advance Smile

Yes it's called Dentinox it's ace and you can usually get it from supermarkets or definitely somewhere like Boots.

Olive oil. Apply with cotton pads, leave for an hour or two, then gently comb away with a baby comb.

Tip a load of olive oil on the scalp, massage in and then comb out with a fine tooth comb. It should lift the flakes , If you then shampoo with the shampoo mentioned above ( or head and shoulders if they're older) it should help prevent it returning.

We used dentinox shampoo and a soft bristled hair hens to gently scrub the rough areas. Repeated for Few days it worked a treat.

We put warm wet flannel on DD's head while she was in the bath, then gentle brushing with soft bristle brush and baby oil on her scalp overnight. Cleared up in a couple of weeks.

Two washes with Head & shoulders got rid of DS’s cradle cap after years of trying other options.

Coconut oil

We tried olive oil and then dentinox. The dentinox worked best but we still end up with a wee monk for a while.

Dentinox cradle cap shampoo sorted my baby's out within days. Aldi often have it in. Costs about £1.50.

I just noticed that DS still has it and he’s 2! He has loads of hair and there’s a tiny patch still left. Might give some of these options a try.

Dentinox or coconut oil
