Baby not feeding, hysterical after jags

My little girl had her 2nd lot of jags on Friday, she was cranky, last night she had a screaming match, she was hysterical for 2 hours straight, we tried everything and eventually got her down, she never screams like this, today she has not been taking as much bottle as she usually does, she was really unsettled again tonight, she has finally went down although only taken 1 ounce of her bedtime bottle when she usually takes 8
I think it's a mixture of upset from jags and teething!
she usually goes down to bed ok, even if she didn't go down it's a we cry and when I bring her through to the living room she sits until she falls asleep but last 2 nights have been almost impossible to stop her crying, it was so bad last night I thought I was going to have to take her to hospital

Is baby still not feeding? Are they having wet nappies?

CloeDee · 10/08/2020 21:12

@StinkySaurus she's not feeding as much, she usually takes 8 ounce every 3-4 hours she's only been taking between 3-4 ounce every 4 hours, around 5 mins ago she took another 4 ounce from her bottle, I change her before every bottle and her nappy's always wet but not as full as it usually is

If you are concerned phone 111 or your gp tomorrow morning. Your her mum, you know best. She’s probably just feeling a bit out of sorts due to the jabs, try offering her a bottle a bit more frequently than normal? Hope she feels better soon Flowers

You probably have, but have you given calpol or baby nurofen?

Footlooseandfancy · 10/08/2020 21:26

Are you giving regular pain relief?

She's still taking some milk which is good but it might be worth checking with GP for advice.

peasoup8 · 10/08/2020 23:23

she usually takes 8 ounce every 3-4 hours

How old is she - 12 weeks? Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t 240ml every 3-4 hours sound like quite a lot of milk for that age? That’s around 1.5 litres per day!

@peasoup8
