Tommee tippee steriliser question

We have a tommee tippee steriliser and it says that they stay sterilised for 24 hours if you leave the lid of the steriliser closed.

If we take the bottles out and fully put them together with lids, how long do they stay steriliser for?

We are thinking of sterilising before bed, then making up the bottles so they are ready for overnight feeds. Would they stay steriliser this way?

If not, what do people do when they go out and need to take a bottle with them?

The empty full bottles would stay sterilised in the caddies provided with the steriliser because they are kept a constant heat, like a thermos. However I personally think they only keep for a few hours (think a day trip somewhere in the morning coming back early evening) that way as the steam on them starts to become water after a while. But otherwise (out of these) no they wouldn’t stay sterilised for very long. However re the night situation, you aren’t meant to make bottles with formula in up in advance these days. Do you just mean putting the bottle together empty at night? Because you can just sterilise less bottles (open for a min) and put them together and on their side on the bottom part of the steriliser and close back over.

I had 8 bottles and sterilised on a continuous cycle so I would say that each bottle was sterilised every day. I didn't really think about the time until they became unsterilised. If I went out for the day I'd use a sterilised bottle and throw it away when home. I had a microwave steriliser.

It is not the official advice but I sterilised the bottles then assembled them (with lids on) asap, then left them until they were used. I didn't time it but it wouldn't have been more than 24 hours with frequency of feeds. The insides are not exposed to the air or anything else so I felt it was fine, within a reasonable amount of time (i.e. I wouldn't have left them for a week).

I sometimes take them out of the steriliser and put them together and leave them on the side. My Ds is 20 weeks and I’ve had no problems with it.
At night when he was have 2/3 bottles a night I made up 3 bottles and left them in the fridge as it was easier. Though i made them up as late as possible and the ones I hadn’t used got thrown out the next morning. He was fine doing this.
