Anyone used little ewe terry squares or green baby ones?

Now that the weather has gone really horrible I'm returning to using terry squares as I just can't get my shaped nappies dry quick enough. My old ones have gone pretty thread bare so I'm going to treat ds to some nice new ones (I'm such a kind mum!).

I have some little ewe ones which I love and was going to order some more of cos they feel so thick and absorbant, but I'm putting in a green baby order so was wondering if anyone knew the difference between their terries and the little ewes, cos I would only have to pay one lot of postage if I order from them.

Thank You.

I have the green baby ones and have used them from birth as folded nappies and then for stuffing into pockets. They are fine for shape but I don't think that they are as thick as the Little Ewe ones if what I've read is true.

I love Little Ewe terries. I haven't used green baby ones so can't help with a comparison, sorry. Just had to have my say about the Little Ewe

We use little ewes, but not green baby. However for fast drying nappies that are shaped we use bumbles and they are really good. The inner pad comes out and they are fleece lined whihc means they dry almost as quickly as the terries.

for fast drying flattys i use and sell bamboo squares, for shaped i use bumbles (flame sell these i think and i love em) and of course for daytime i use pockets as they dry in no time and i cant fold for my life so the squaresa are kinda my last resort - there lovely and soft though - bamboo goodness but fast drying flatness

Flamesparrow · 30/09/2007 20:15

Not tried the green baby, I love the little ewe ones.

I agree with bumbles being the fastest drying cotton one - oooh or a quick flip light dries really fast, just buy an extra insert because the outers dry faster

nappyzone · 30/09/2007 20:20

i lied ive never used a bumble in my life - i mean bimbles

tutu100 · 30/09/2007 23:19

I did have a bumble and loved it, but sadly ds developed a rash whenever I used fleece so it had to go.

I think I shall stick with the little ewes then as I know I like their thickness. Thank you evryone for your comments.

Nappyzone, I pad fold and bought some bamboo squares which are lovely, but the damn things are so slippy! I've given up on them because by the time I'd slid the wrap and folded square combo under ds's bum the folded sqaure had slipped out. Did use them to stuff fuzzi's for a while but then the fleece sensitivity put paid to that as well.

Anyone else find their child gets sore with nippas and bamboo squares? Where they are so thin DS gets sore hips

nappyzone · 01/10/2007 13:01

no we dont to be honest but then he has them of within the hr for blankie cuddling lol! - mine more for blankie using and minki stuffing to be honest!

tutu100 · 01/10/2007 22:39

I'm afraid I'm really rubbish with a nippa. Poor ds always ended up with a scratched willy from where the bottom bit never stayed in the fabric. I gave up after a few attempts.
