Holiday with toddler

We've booked a 3 night getaway, only in a travelodge by the sea. The only break we will get this year.
Any ideas of what to take to make our life easy with a toddler and save us some Money.
Planning on taking a hamper with some cutlery and bowls so we can have cereal in the mornings, and if we buy some croissants that'll be breakfast sorted.

We've got 300 for the 3 nights 4 days.

If you have the option, I would go for a holiday cottage instead. There are still lots of options out there. We’ve just booked a holiday for end of August (not by the sea, but in a national park area). 3 bedrooms for £70 a night. With a toddler you’ll want outdoor space and I would want a kitchen. I couldn’t imagine a holiday that involved eating out 2 main meals a day. At least with a kitchen, you can keep milk and snacks in the fridge and you’ll save money on not eating out (especially now when you’ll likely need to pre-book everywhere). And having a separate sleeping space means you can relax in the evening after bedtime. Easy snacks and food you can pack with you is good too. There’s limited attractions open now but bucket and spade and bath toys for playing on the beach.

Yes In an ideal world...
But 70 a night, against 88 for 3 nights, we haven't got that sort of money unfortunately.
We usually buy rolls, cheese and make sandwiches while out . Much cheaper than buying lunch out every day.

DH and I had a good holiday in a hotel for 3 nights when DS was 20 months ish. Yes to bringing breakfasty stuff and snacks with you.

We mostly planned our days round meals. Had a big cafe breakfast later morning( like 9am. after DS had food in the room When he woke up and watched tv etc and we chilled with coffee) then just gave him something small for lunch while out and about at 12ish and then we had an early dinner in a restaurant around 4/5pm with DS. You could just all eat breakfast in your room though. Pack a lunch for the beach and then eat dinner out somewhere or get takeaway for the room.

His sleep wasn’t the best, and I didn’t love sitting in a dark hotel room all evening. But we made it work. Netflix on the iPad. You could potentially put the travel cot in the bathroom and just use the reception bathrooms if you’re keeping him awake. Or we found that we just adjusted his routine a bit and he did great and went right back to normal when we got home

I wouldn’t personally do a single hotel room now for more than one night. But I have 2 kids (2 and 5) so it’s a bit different.
