Omeprazole for reflux - your experiences?

3mo has been prescribed Losec MUPS (omeprazole) for silent reflux. I know it's unlicensed for under 1s, but GPs prescribe it all the time. Curious to hear experiences of using this to treat reflux (in our case, mostly silent reflux). Haven't given it to her yet but first dose this evening. Were EBF on demand so the 20-30 mins before eating thing might be tricky... Thanks!

Not all reflux is associated with weight loss/slow growth, especially silent as they aren't losing as much of the feed by being sick.

We are on omperazole for reflux, we have just had the dose increased as whilst the reflux had improved she was still struggling with symptoms. She is following her growth curve whilst she is sick and struggles to feed over the course of the day she is still able to get enough milk to grow at a steady rate.

Can I ask what dose your babies had with the oral solution? I've just been prescribed to give my 8 week old 1.75ml but that doesn't seem enough. Thank you

He has 5mg. They gave me the liquid version and I only pull out 1.25ml in the syringe but that is a 5mg dose. If that makes sense?

Can anyone tell me if this is a evaporation line? I tested after with same urine and just one line. I wasn't planning on a pregnancy so I am very scared it's going to be positive. I have some symptoms but so close to pms symptoms and also stressing out. I just don't know ! I am 27_28 days into my cycle it's usually 30 odd days
