How many evenings out do you and your partner get? Pre lockdown

We have a 2 year old daughter and we’ve managed around 5 nights out where she has stayed in grandparents houses and maybe another 5 or 6 where she has been babysat in our house and have had an evening out until around 11pm. I think that’s great considering her age and feel lucky we have that help. Husband wishes we could have an extra night or two out for a meal/show. Just wondering what others situation is?

@Angelonia no problem apart from us finding the time or energy 😂

Just curious as to what others do. Don’t think we are doing too bad I suppose

2.5yo. We haven’t spent a night away together on our own yet. A few nights/weeks each for work or hen/stag dos. An evening out together about 3 times/year but we have no family nearby to help. Pre kids we had intended to go out together monthly...

DS turned 2 during lockdown. Since he was born we’ve been to 3 weddings which has involved grandparents having DS all day and then putting him to bed, but have been home that night. We’ve also had two meals out locally where my sister came round after we’d put him to bed. Doesn’t feel like enough tbh!

I breastfed DS until he was 13 months so it wasn’t really an option before then as he wouldn’t sleep without his bedtime feed.

5yo and 2yo. We get a night out about 2 or 3 times a year. I hate asking people to babysit, especially as one of our 2 possible babysitters will always want us to babysit for them (which is fine) but is a real CF and will take the piss, so we only ask for specific things like a wedding or works do. Our kids go to bed at 7 though so we have plenty of nice evenings in.
