Baby bumped his head on dads teeth. He's smiling lesser now and less eye contact. Should I be concerned ?

Yesterday, when my hubby was holding our baby in arms , the baby's face was away from him and suddenly he turned his face towards dad , which ended up his head bumping on his father's teeth :/
He has a habit of turning heads even if it causes head to hit on whoever is holding him.
It just caused temporary redness on forehead over his left eye.
and nothing more.
But our baby is not anymore laughing much at his dad or making eye contact. Earlier he would just laugh with a wide smile worth dying for whenever his dad smiled wide at him.
I am wondering if the reason he's not smiling today or making eye contact has anything to do with yesterday's bump, although he's still observing things around the room actively and reaching out to hold things ferociously

The question to ask yourself here is, if it were the reason, what would or could you be doing that's any different to what you're currently doing?

I'm not sure there's a correlation. I dropped my phone on my baby's head when they were about a month old Blush and they fell off the sofa aged about 6 months and fell down the step from the back door aged 1 year and bashed their face... Each time I panicked but of course they're absolutely fine.

If your baby is alert and feeding and still smiling then just keep an eye but do try not to worry. They are far more resilient to these mishaps than we think! If you continue to be concerned, though, and feel they're not acting normally, do contact a health professional.

He'll be fine. Mine had a toy dropped on him by another child when he was that age. I'd be more concerned about your partner's teeth! Bet that hurt!

Babies go through phases at that age between being sociable and concentrating on their own thing. Don't worry
