Talk to me about a baby walker. The ones they push.

Do I need a wooden one? They look better but they are more expensive.
The plastic ones look bad but I think my baby would find it more interesting.
Any suggestions totally welcome

My baby has two ride-ons that can also be pushed so you get more for your money as baby can push it and then ride it when he's older. We also have the VTECH one which he loves to push, he's not interested in the stuff on the front (his brother was the other way around).

My DC used this one and it was a hit: www.elc.co.uk/wooden-toys/Early-Learning-Centre-Wooden-Activity-Workbench-Walker/p/540844

Still is with DC2 who now walks unaided but likes using it as a trolley to get other toys around the house. DC2 wasn't as coordinated moving around with it as DC1 was, so we just took the wheels off, which slowed it down sufficiently.

DS has a jojo mama babe wooden one with bricks which he could walk behind really well and now he uses as a truck for carrying things round and as a battering ram. The bricks are really good ones.

@cultkid

I am going to get an ugly as fuck plastic one that he will adore My house is a dive anyway these days with everyone at home What's a plastic walker going to add to it At least it hasn't got bits and he might leave the shoes in the hall alone 😑
In my experience it just means he can now walk to the shoes in the hall and lick the soles instead of crawling there 🤷🏻‍♀️
