Ibuprofen dosage for teething 12 month old

Hi, my 12 month old is having such a hard time with teething just now.. he has 15 teeth through including canines and back molars (top and bottom) which all seem to have popped through within the past couple of weeks. He's in a lot of pain and the only thing that helps is 5ml of ibuprofen which I've only been giving him in the evening, probably every night bar one for the last week.

I'm reluctant to give him it twice a day, but calpol doesn't seem to take the pain away for him and I've tried everything else (anbesol, powders). Is it really that bad if I start giving him ibu twice a day? I know It's only temporary but worried it might be irritating his stomach. He eats plenty throughout the day so never really has an empty stomach. Any advice appreciated!

Just to add I know it says I can give it 3 times in 24 hours but I don't think this is the case if I'm giving it every day.

I'm not a doctor, but I would say twice a day is fine after meals etc. I've given it to ds twice a day before, and sometimes he would have had calpol too (when he's been fighting fever & temp won't come down etc). Hasn't reacted with his stomach.

I would give him the calpol if your baby has had 15 teeth through in a short amount of time. Bless them it must be awful.

Thanks I'm just going to go for twice a day when he seems really bad and maybe calpol in between. His little fingers are all cut from gnawing them too.
