I never realised this is a thing but I have been told by family friends that for their DC first birthday they got the other half a gift?
Is this something you did for each other and if so what did you get.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No! But I'm all for more presents if it's affordable. What it is depends on the person I suppose, what does your partner like?

octobersky19 · 16/06/2020 22:27

I've never known that to be a thing?

molifly14 · 16/06/2020 22:27

That's not a thing

Sounds bonkers to me but if you like the idea then do it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

brainstories568 · 16/06/2020 22:29

Well if it is a thing then that's the first I've heard of it...

dobbyssoc · 16/06/2020 22:30

I had never heard of it but panicked it was!
As it's Father's Day a week before DS birthday I have got him lots of little bits for that which are sentimental and it would be difficult to figure something else out!
Thank you everyone!

That’s a first for me never heard of that - although celebrating a first birthday is also a celebration of survival of the first year so a present maybe appropriate Wink

backseatcookers · 16/06/2020 23:27

Never heard of this either!

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 16/06/2020 23:29

Ive never heard of this!

Thisismytimetoshine · 16/06/2020 23:31

It really isn't a thing. And your title reads like your partner is about to celebrate his first birthday...
I think you may have misunderstood.

DappledThings · 17/06/2020 08:15

That really isn't a thing.
