....of a car that doesn't contain half the contents of the DCs bedrooms and a few bits of mouldy food.

of not seeing grubby clothing strewn about the house

of a fridge full of champagne and strawberries rather than industrial sized packets of strawberry yogurts

of not finding cheerios stuck to everybody's elbows

puzzles/toys where all the bits are IN THE BOX!!

where a house stays clean and tidy for more than a day...

... enough energy to do all the jobs I have to do every day

a dream of a DS who can be left alone for 2 seconds and WON'T climb on something...

a home where I would never mind if people dropped in unannounced.... where you can always walk through the hallway without scaling a pile of bags/coats/shoes.... where my "surfaces" are clutter-free... where underneath the sofa is a health hazard, even though I only swept underneath it YESTERDAY

I repainted the stair walls a few weeks ago they were pristine for a week. I'm going to go over it with the magnolia trade paint we used for the dining room as that's wipeable.
