Selling kids clothes

Hiya! Just was wondering if any mumsnetters have any tips of selling on children's clothes? I've recently used eBay but I find once bidding is over and eBay fees come out, it's not really worth the hassle. I usually use marketplace/ gumtree and although I get a lot of interest I feel like many people want something for nothing I'd rather give it away than take £2 for a dress I paid £20 odd for! Any advice on pricing? Is it better to sell individually or in bundles? I don't buy designer or anything like that but mostly next, river island, Debenhams ect. I also like supermarket brands which I tend to put In a huge bundle for £20 and still doesn't sell . I myself happily buy bits second hand and am more than happy to pay say £7 Ish for a £20 dress..
any tips?? I have bags of stuff to get rid of! X

There are a lot of Facebook groups for selling baby/children's clothes, just chose the one for the brands you are selling (there are generic highstreet sale groups too)

I can never be fussed with selling, I just bag it up and put it in Salvation Army bin. Its all quality stuff and it makes me feel like I'm doing a good thing. My friend sells A LOT of stuff on selling pages, the stories she tells me about time wasters and people wanting something for nothing exhaust me!!

I give it away to friends/colleagues who want it. If not, it goes to a charity shop. I cant be doing with the faff of selling it.

I sell my Boden, Jojo Maman Bebe and Frugi through the resell sights on Facebook and most items sell well on there.

Another brands I find really hard to get rid of. I did an NCT sale a few months and got rid of a lot there but you have to price cheap to sell.

I now tend to mainly just buy Frugi as I know it will sell easily when we are finished with it and I don’t feel so guilty about so many clothes ended up in landfill which is what happens when the charity shops can’t sell them on!

Join your local buy nothing group on Facebook and give it away. You can receive plenty of kids stuff from other people that you end up neutral. Much better than losing 75% of what you paid each time.

Take it to a charity shop tbh. Seems like a a right bother tbh.

I think you might be expecting a little too much, I sold some ted baker and little white company bits and it wasn’t really worth it so just take it all to the charity shop now. People only want to pay pennies for second hand clothes.
