I go to family centre three times a week where they run free chreche . One day there was a business meeting where they wanted some of the 'mums' to come to put there input in. Most of it was financial reviews, business projects etc. What was painful was having to sit there and get everything explianed. in triplicate. I felt like saying yes i am a mum but before i was, i did a degree in Business and Finance. I felt really belittled and wanted to spew out some jargon to see their faces.

Sofia - might I suggest that you invest in a packet of Pampers care mats? Stick one down your gusset and you'll not have to worry about laughing again.

Not only do some of the medical profession think Mums have no brain (last time the consultant refused to believe I could have a 35 day cycle) but apparently we have nothing better to do than sit in waiting rooms. At our clinic groups of women are given the same appointment time so it is in reality first come first served. For the past two times I have waited over an hour. Do others have this problem?

thanks Willow2. Actually the baby has shifted positions and I am no longer pissing myself, just farting all the time....I've decided to start my maternity leave a week earlier than anticipated.

Sofia, best of luck for the birth! Lollypop, we just have a clinic for pre- and post-natal sutff, which means "First come, first served" - so people turn up half an hour before to avoid waiting for an hour or more! I turned up to a BF clinic an hour before to avoid waiting for 2-3hrs. Lovely woman, but as each person had to demonstrate their bf problem, she would spend up to 30-40min with each one as they did one breast and then the other.
