Bedtime!!!

I put 7 month old to bed at 7pm. She wakes up 45 minutes later. I leave her in her cot - she plays around and falls asleep around half 8. Sometimes she is still up at 9! So I rock her to sleep.

In the morning she normally has breakfast at 7 but lately she is just sleeping?! Which messes up the whole routine.
I wake up and start to prepare for the day and she only wakes up because of the noise I make.

Is this norma for a 7 month old?

Thank you in advance for any replies! :)

Do you need her awake by 7am? I'd take advantage and have a lie in

Her sleeping in a bit later is her routine. The 7am breakfast is your routine.
If you're not having to be up and out for a certain time and 7 isn't a necessity I would leave her and go round her.
She could be having a growth spurt or the time awake after putting her to bed means she needs a bit more sleep.

I wouldn't worry about it

Particularly at the moment, during lockdown, I'd be happy with letting bedtime and wake ups both slide later.

But if you want to keep 7-7 night, it might be over- or under- tired at bedtime. So that's to do with daytime naps. What is your current routine for daytime sleep?

Thank you for the replies.

She has a one hour nap midday and a 30 minute nap mid afternoon.

She normally wakes up before 7 so that has been the routine. Breakfast at 7. Its these last few days she still sleeping at 7.

She also keeps tossing and turning all night and puts her face down. Literally in the matress. I get worried what if she can't breath so I turn her to her side and she flips to her face again.. and all night we are going in circles. This has been going on flr a week! She still can't roll from tummy to back so starts to cry.
