Not sure if I'm doing this right. Any advice would be appreciated.

My LO has never been a great feeder. Never takes more than 4oz. She has a bottle every 3 hours. Takes 3-4oz. Sometimes 2oz.

After lots of trials - I think this works best.

6am first bottle
7am breakfast
9am second bottle
10am yoghurt/ fruit
12pm third bottle
3pm fourth bottle
4pm dinner veggie soup
6pm fith bottle
7pm bedtime (2 naps during the day)
10pm sixth bottle

Does this sound okay?

She also doesn't eat much. One table spoon breakfast. Nearly two table spoons of yoghurt and one tablespoon dinner.

My mum said she is eating way less but I rather she drink her milk?

Does she drink all her bottles? It sounds like it's all crammed in to me. There can't be much time for her to get hungry on that schedule.

Hi @wedding2021 thank you for the reply. She doesn't finish her bottles. Sometimes she drinks less than 3oz sometimes nearly 4oz and sometimes 2oz. With the last bottle I aim to get 20 - 24 oz of formula. Does that sound okay?

Even if I wait 4 hours 5 hours she won't drink more than 3/4oz

Apart from a morning bottle which they sometimes have with breakfast you need to start offering milk at naps and bedtime. So on that basis you are a few bottles too many and maybe she will drink more milk at each feeding time.

4pm is a bit early for dinner too.

Hi @Marpan thank you for the reply. Sorry I'm a bit confused. She won't drink more than 3/4oz at one time regardless of the gap inbetween drinking time so I offer quiet often so we hit the 24oz.

Is that wrong to do?

Maybe I can offer dinner at 5pm and pushing 6 oclock bottle to 7?

Is she a big baby? Babies Make Up for milk in other foods like yogurt. I think the snacks in between meals fills them up, mine didn’t really start snacking through the day until 1 year old. The teet on the bottle can make
A different too, sometimes they work too hard to get the milk out and get bored halfway through. Personally I do dinner at 630 and bed bottle at 8ish which is bedtime bottle. Doing it later will help in stopping the need for a dream feed (your 10pm) also plenty of crawling and rolling around time or baby walker time will make her hungrier.

Hi @Marpan thank you for the advice! I will try that tomorrow and see how it goes! Thank you so much.
