Normal or not?

My 7 week old baby is EBF and seems to be putting on weight normally, feeding normally etc. But she is sick constantly and always huge amounts - something I don't remember happening with my son.

I just fed her and the amount of milk that came out in one projectile vomit afterwards was the biggest yet. Is this just a phase some babies go through? Or should I try and get a virtual doctors apt?

Thank you!!

My ds did this. We tried all the reflux medications which made no difference and they put it down to an over sensitive gag reflex. However he only stopped doing it when they decided he had asthma, brown inhaler, no more vomiting!

My DS was like this, I cut out dairy from my diet which helped loads. If she is gaining weight and having plenty of wet and dirty nappies then there shouldn't be anything to worry about as the amount vomited always looks way more than than it is. But you know your baby. And if you think you might have your mind put at ease by speaking to a GP then you should absolutely do that.

Didn’t know where to write this I’m having my first baby but my partner has 2 girls already is it normal that I’ll love our child more than his kids? as it’s my flesh and blood and I’m not his kids mum surely this is normal? I don’t expect him to love any of his kids differently as there all his! Obviously I care for his kids and won’t treat them any different to what I do now but I’ll love my child more please help

I'd recommend cutting out dairy and soy strictly from your diet, as a first step. Dairy is the culprit behind a significant amount of reflux in babies, and many of these babies are sensitive to soy as well.

Op, before touchy anything from your diet I would deffo suggest a doctor's opinion.

@louises199015 what exactly do you need help with? Yes, I'm sure it is normal but I don't see an issue? You obviously don't say it to the children...
