DS2 has always been very grumpy at times even since he was little and had horrendous colic and torsion of his neck when he was born. Most of the time, he is a happy little lad with a really funny sense of humour. He gets on well with his big brother even though they fight like lion cubs!

DS2 turned three a few months ago and I'm beginning to think that someone has replaced him overnight! He's grumpy, shouting at me when he doesn't get what he wants and screaming at a pitch that could shatter glass. When he does this, I put him on the bottom step for time out but he can just sit and laugh at me when timeout is ended and I speak to him about his behaviour.

He was also completely potty trained and doesn't even wear nappies at night but has started to wee and poo himself again during the day. I've had to revert back to bribery to make sure he goes to the toilet when he needs to go.

He's also constantly trying to fight with his brother (5 years old) and honestly I'm at my wits end. My DH works away for weeks at a time and so I'm flying solo. I'm wracking my brains and I honestly can't remember having these things with DS1 but he's so laid back he's practically horizontal most of the time.

Don't get me wrong, he's a lovely lad but when he has these moments it's absolutely horrible and I try really hard to stay calm.

The three of us do lots during the day, we have crafts and play outside. We garden and look for bugs and play with water and he has time to wind down with something on the tv before dinner but I need some advice on what to do or whether this is just normal!

I know he's missing his playgroup with his friends and this is a difficult situation but I feel at a complete loss and a shit mum most of the time now!
