Early teething and struggling!

My DD is 2 months and has started teething! She’s struggling to sleep and eat, grumpy and pulling at her face and chewing her hands constantly!! Sad
She’s too young for most gels and is only just starting to hold things so she’s struggles with toys. Tried a Sophie giraffe that she just pulls faces at (even with a dab of honey on it) and metal toys seem too hard.
The only thing that seems to help is calpol, but in lock down it’s in short supply and she can only have it twice a day at this age.
Does anyone have any suggestions for toys or even gels that could help please?

Please don't give her honey, not recommended under 1 year as risk of botulism. Apart from that cold flannels to chew? Frozen breast milk if she's breastfed? Hope others come with more ideas.

Dont give honey. My DS had two teeth when he was 8 weeks so I feel for you. Have you tired rubbing the gums with a clean finger ?

Biggest relief for my DS when he was that age was my (clean) finger to chew on. He was at it constantly.

My son is 5 months and has two teeth, started teething at around 3 months and even now, nothing beats a chew on my finger! (Hurts now!)

Omg! Didn’t know that about honey, thanks for the heads up! Won’t do it again. Thought it might have been the taste because Sophie is quite rubbery, so was just trying to make it a bit nicer. But she still turned her nose up at it.
She does love a good finger chop. Especially if it’s cold Smile so will stick with that for now, thank you
