My son is 18 months old but we are planning for another baby which will
Be due ( all going to plan) Spring next year 2021. My son will be 3 in November 2021. I currently have an uppababy cruz which I used for him with bassinet and seat but I was just wonduering if by the time 2nd baby. Comes if I will need a new pram to seat both of them or as my son will be just over 2 going on for 3 not need a pram and he can walk or stand in pram attachment at back of pram? Just trying to plan ahead really as wasn’t sure if would still need a pram at his age :) thank u

I would say a buggy board attached to your pram would be fine. I gave birth to my third when number 1 was 2 years and 10 months and number 2 was 20 months so no choice really! I just had a buggy board attached to the double. A year on, I've got a single buggy with a buggy board but the 3 and 2 year old mostly walk everywhere.

I think it depends on your lifestyle. My son will be 2 years 8 months when his sister is born. I've decided to go for a double because we regularly walk to different places and I also still like to have him locked down in a shop when I just want to get on. I've gone for the out N About Nipper Double with carrycot and it's so good I'm using it before she's born! But if you mainly drive places and he is only in the buggy for short periods then you may be better off with a buggy board.

I’m due Nov when my son will be 2.5. I’m not planning on getting a double. We barely used his pram until he was 6 months as he loved being in the sling so I plan on having the new baby in the sling and DS can stay in the pram. Will also have a buggyboard so can swap between easily (have a bugaboo bee which has a cocoon - basically a footmuff - for newborns rather than a carrycot so easy to switch). Hoping it works out as I love our pram and don’t want to have to buy another for the sake of a few months!
