Baby teeth grinding

My baby is an early teether and has 6 teeth at just 7 months. I started to hear him grinding them and I have noticed darker patches on the bottom of his 2 front teeth. To me it looks like he has worn away the enamel Shock 😫

What do I do? I am worried about this as although they’re baby teeth they’ve got to last him until he is 5/6 yo. And he has done this within just a couple of weeks of them coming through!

He isn’t doing the grinding as frequently now but I still hear it occasionally.

Thanks for advice

I would try using the 'toothfairy' app, where you can do a live call with a dentist. You will have to pay a one off fee, but they will be able to tell you whether it is anything to worry about or not x

Hey, I’m afraid I have no real advice but just wanted to say my DD went through a phase of this after her top teeth came through at about 10 months old.
I did a lot of googling and came across a few things saying many babies do it when teething or just that it’s a new sensation they have discovered they can do. My DD hasn’t done it enough to wear down her teeth and fingers crossed hasn’t done it for a little while now, but as the previous post says it’s best to consult a dentist if you are worried and they can put your mind at rest. I know at the minute obviously it’s impossible to be able to see your own dentist.
Does your son have a dummy or a favourite toy he likes to put in his mouth? I used to pop in my DD’s dummy or give her things she likes to chew as a distraction when she did it as more than anything I couldn’t stand the noise!
