My baby boy is two and a half month's old and he seems to have a flat head . And I can feel a dip on the backside of his head.
Like slight depression.
I have attached pics. Am I too late to correct it. My baby will turn 3 months old on May 8th.

My ds had a flat side for about 7 months, it was where he layed on it. HV wasn't concerned and it rounded out when he started to roll over in his sleep. He's now almost 10 months old.

It is however worth consulting your HV or GP if you are concerned just to get him checked and make sure it is likely to correct itself.

My little girl had a very similar flat head for around 6 months, it then gradually rounded out. Now she is 3 and looks like any other head!

My DS had a difficult birth and developed a flat head as a result. I remember getting very concerned about it at around the 3 month mark.

I think first of all you need to make sure that he can turn his head in both directions, otherwise be might need physio. You can also buy special pillows on Amazon that can help. We used one of these pillows until around 6 months, when he was confident rolling both ways and wanted to naturally tummy sleep. Also do as much tummy time as you can (although he might still be too little to tolerate too much of this).

My son still has a bit of a flat head aged almost 2, but it is barely noticeable now (also helped by lots of hair).

My now 7 year old had a flat head, it was on the severe end of normal. It was plagiocephally, so she had a helmet to help it shape back into place, her ears were out of alignment by a cm too. We saw a paediatrician at the hospital and he wasnt worried, but I was so we went private to an orthotics clinic. They were fab. She was 6 months when she had her helmet and had it for 18 weeks.

I was advised to not use the car seat as often as they are harder eg if having a car journey dont clip the car seat on to the pram when you use the pram use the pram/pushchair seat.
