Apologies if this question has already been asked, I tried looking for a thread but couldn't really find any age relevant.
DS is 10 months old and I am struggling to find ways to keep him entertained during lockdown that don't involve the TV! Both DP and I are trying to work as much as possible but have come up with a split shift approach where I have DS all morning one week and all afternoon the next (and DP the opposite).
I just feel DS is spending all his time either in his walker or crawling around on the floor. He does play well with his toys by himself for half an hour or so and we try and actively play with him during the day too as much as possible but I'm running out of ideas to keep him entertained. We go on a walk each day during our allocated exercise time and try to spend some time out in the garden when the weather is nice but I just feel like it's so monotonous for him.. with the same toys, same lounge, same everything. He's used to being at nursery so he's used to endless activities and friends!
If anyone has any suggestions, I would be so grateful! I just feel like I'm letting him down and not giving him all the new experiences he should be getting. I'm not a typical 'fun mum' (it doesn't really come naturally to me) and don't have the best imagination on what we could do. Truthfully I'm just a bit clueless at this and don't know what's age appropriate for him. I'm feeling a bit out of my depth with lockdown and I just want to do the best for him - but don't really know where to start.
