Hi Ladies,

Angel Movement Pad, worth getting or not?
My twins are now 6 months so I am thinking of moving them in to their own rooms.

I'm considering getting the Angel Movement pads for their cots, but I've heard a lot of mixed options and that they give out a lot false alarms?

Would love to hear if you guys would recommend them?
Many thanks in advance.

I didn’t get one for that exact reason. The last thing I need is to be freaking out about false alarms. I just kept my baby in my room next to me where I could hear his breathing.

I would have been lost without mine. Only 2 false alarms in the 2 years I used it

I had one after my son was in hospital for 9 months after being born. He was in our room but it gave me the reassurance that I could go to sleep without worrying. It only had one false alarm after using it for about 6 months.

Our youngest was a front sleeper only from day dot almost, we got one when she was two months and still in our room, I'd rather be alerted to a false than not know anything.

I would recommend the Sense-U monitor instead - it is about the size of a £2 coin and it clips on to their clothes. It monitors temp, breathing and movement/roll over. Good thing is you don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it off when you pick them up and it’s so easily moved - I just leave it on him so he has it for naps etc if we visit people, in the pram, etc
