Feeding bottles - do you replace them? How often?

I’ve been reading that you should replace teats every 2 months and bottles every 4-6 months even if they are ‘good quality’ and that BPA free bottles should be thrown out after 6 months.

I have a 4 month old dd. I don’t remember doing this with dd3 (now 11)

I've never done this or heard this. I think it must be quite new advice. Where did you read it (what source?)

Here’s one article but there are lots of similar ones 🤷🏻‍♀️

I probably wouldn't bother tbh unless there is proper evidence based guidance from NHS or WHO or similar.

I've never known anyone to do this and never known a baby to suffer any harm.
