What will entertain my 3 year old

DD is 3.5. We've always tried to limit screen time and go for natural open ended resources. That's not cutting the mustard at the moment and she's desperate for us to play all the time! It's exhausting.

What toys do 3/4 year olds play with well independently? I'm thinking playmobil?

Wooden train set, space hopper

My DD isn't much older (4 in a couple of weeks) and she enjoys drawing on an easel, role play in her kitchen, making dens so I'm getting her a teepee for her birthday, playing with dolls, dinosaurs and dress up like Rapunzel or Elsa, books, pop up pirate (we play together) and jenga (we play that together too) and baking with mummy (flour free recipes because all the greedy fingers snapped up the stock) I hope some of that helps!

They're all about roleplay and creative play at that age, so get involved with Easter crafts

Lego duplo. We have a huge box of it. Tip that out on the floor, start building something yourself and then leave them to it.

Playmobil can be quite fiddly for younger kids. I've found I still have to do a lot of building and setting up for them with it

Farm
Play doh
Compost and cars (outside!)
Building with junk
Water and containers

Real life objects from your tool box.
Make a vets with your cuddly toys. Make bandages, use bottles for medicine, little notebooks for prescriptions and appointments etc.

Lego / Duplo / Megabocks, play kitchen, toot toot cars, train set, farm set are the main ones here. Trying to get into a routine with some outside time and also quiet time after lunch (it’s definitely not bap time because that’s for babies)
