Baby won't settle with husband

Hi, my LO is 15 weeks old and has suffered badly with reflux and what we're assuming is colic (quick background: struggled with excessive wind, trapped wind and diarrhea, silent reflux etc since birth and has tried every type of gas drops, gaviscon, massage, literally everything you could think of, she is on omeprazole and Nutramigen, but no real improvement)

My husband and I have co-parented full time since birth (husband has taken leave from work as I have mental health issues) and in the early days he took her a bit more so I could recover, but now whenever he tries to feed her/put her to sleep/give her meds, she freaks out and just screams until she gets back to me.

There's been no situation that I think could have caused it and I don't know how to fix it, I'm desperate for a little bit of time to myself and my husband is so upset that the baby suddenly seems to hate him.
Anyone else been through this? What did you do?

I hate to break it to you, but this is TOTALLY NORMALY

my DS is 18 months and still often refuses anyone but me.

It's perfectly healthy and will, over time, change.

For now, try and embrace it as much as possible but do seek help from your family or midwife if at any point it becomes over bearing.

If you do become desperate for time to yourself, which is also totally normal, the only way I coped was to either A) feed and change baby then get husband to take for a drive whilst you stay at home as chances are baby will fall asleep or B) baby stays at home with dad whilst you go out.

That way, if baby cries, you're not there to hear.

I remember I went to yoga one night, first time I left DH solely in charge of DS. DS apparently cried the whole hour before nodding off through exhaustion. Broke my heart, but I really enjoyed the yoga and was none the wiser as to what was happening at home.

I found it easier to leave the house so my partner could focus on baby and not worry about me hearing crying etc.

And just keep handing baby to your partner, they both have to get used to it, and he may be nervous which baby is picking up on.

Since about 4months old we have alternated putting dd to bed so she got used to both of us. I pumped a bottle for him so he could put her down as i didn't want to have her attached to me 24/7.
