DS (2.7) is starting potty training this week -- he's been asking to go at nursery so it looks as though it's time. So he went off this morning in his brand new dinosaur underpants and we'll see how it goes...
My big question is over this Saturday -- we (DH and me and DS) are going to the London Double Header which is two rugby matches back-to-back at Twickenham. Realistically we'd already accepted that DS would probably lose interest before the end of the second match so we'd be likely to only see 1.5 matches. But this was all planned before potty-training was on the horizon, and now I don't know how to handle it. There are serious queues for the loos so we're unlikely to be able to respond quickly enough to an urgent request from DS. Should we just try taking him near the beginning and end of each half (so avoiding half time and between matches, and with any luck hitting the quiet patch in the bathroom queuing dynamic)? I'm assuming it would be counter-productive to put him back in a nappy for an afternoon?
