It's normal not to have poo in a nappy for that long at this age. My little ones would go a couple of days sometimes before they would poo. They were both on comfort milk too. They can get a bit grumpy but it's best to just keep doing 'bicycle legs' or sit baby in a bouncy chair (the vibrating ones always helped DD2 poo)
when the poo eventually came it's often quite different than their normal movement.

If the nappies are dry and baby isn't having a wee for that long then you need to ring 111.

I’ve never heard of gripe water causing constipation. Comfort milk has thickners in it so it also thickens the poo and can cause constipation. Not going for 24 hours is not constipation though.

Bicycling legs
Warm bath
Anticolic massage
If all else fails put her in your favour outfit and go out somewhere.

My 4 month old only goes approximately every 3 days - I’ve brought this up with health visitor who says perfectly normal in formula fed babies.

Once a week with one of my DC... then it would be a monster poosplosion!

Doctor told me that even up to once a week is normal in formula fed babies, and that it's not the frequency that matters, but whether they are passing it easily / in any discomfort when pooping.

If all else fails put her in your favour outfit and go out somewhere. Isn't that the truth! Grin
