Bit of a rivial question-has anyone had a pinata at their kids party???

Is it as stressful as it looks(kids bashing with stick, rugby scrum for tat after).

DP thinks it looks like fun-I don't. Am I just being a killjoy??

As it would kill half an hour I could be persuaded. Should just add it's for my 4 year old twin boys party. Loads of 4 year old boys wielding a stick just doesn't sound good to me.

I shouldn't knock him, he's brilliant and lovely but has a tendancy to throw caution to the wind and get a bit over excited when playing with kids so safety could be an issue!!!!

We've got one for dd's 6th - will fill with gold chocolate coins

dd has been to 3 parties with pinatas (all Spanish friends). Big success.

One was done in the local park.
