AIBU?

AIBU to say that a father who doesn't parent their child in any way should pay more maintenance than a father who is there for their children and maybe has them overnights sometimes and also provides for them when they have them as well as paying maintenance. I'm talking about a father who has hardly any contact whatsoever, maybe about 2 hours every 6 or 7 weeks when he can be bothered and never would take them overnight. I sometimes feel I'm greedy for taking £250 a month from him as he constantly pleads poverty but has a relatively high earning job? But he does absolutely nothing else. I've done everything for my son from day 1 and all he actually does do is pay money.

Parents who have their children overnight do pay less maintenance.

The CMS amount is pitiful, no one will think you're being unreasonable with that. But you can't charge someone more because they're emotionally unavailable, if they're physically available the same as someone who phones every now and then.

DS' dad lives oversees and has essentially no contaxt, because he has another child with someone else I get £120/month. Count yourself lucky.
